March 29, 2009 - 902 Crosby Street - Building Fire - 2 Alarms

At 10:31 hrs the companies were dispatched to 902 Crosby Street for a shed fire. While the companies were responding Chester Police reported a shed against the house. Chester-11 then arrived on location and reported a building fire, heavy fire showing from the rear of the structure.  Engine 82 dropped a 5" supply line and went in service with an 1 3/4" attack line.  Squirt 81 pulled a 2 " blitz line to the rear of the structure and knocked down the fire from the exterior so Engine 82's crew could advance through the building.  Tower 82 went to the roof and trenched it along the party wall.  Crews remained on location until 13:45 hrs.

March 28, 2009 - 1421 New James Street - Building Fire

At 11:15 hrs the companies were dispatched to 1421 New James Street for a building fire. Chester-11 arrived on location and reported heavy smoke showing from the second floor.  Squrt 81 arrived on location and went in-service with an 1 3/4 attack line. Tower 82 went to the roof to check for extension and Engine 82 stood by the hydrant.  Companies went available at 13:00 hrs.

 

 

March 23, 2009 - 1403 West Sixth Street - Building Fire

At 13:40 hrs the companies were dispatched to 1403 West 6th Street for a building fire. Upon arrival it was reported heavy smoke showing 2nd floor side 1 of the structure. Squrt 81 went in-service with an 1 3/4 attack line to the second floor front bedroom. Tower 82 conducted primary and secondary searches while Engine 82 stood as the RIT.  Companies went available at 14:26 hrs.

March 25, 2009 - 331 Pennell Street - Building Fire

At 23:33 hrs the companies were dispatched to 331 Pennell Street for a building fire.  Chester-11 arrived on location and reported heavy smoke showing first floor of a vacant structure.  Squrt 81 arrived and dropped a 5" supply line and went in-service with an 1 3/4 attach line. Tower 82 conducted primary and secondary searches while 82-1 checked the exposure.  Companies went available at 01:42 hrs.
