October 14, 2009 - 324 East Eleventh Street - Building Fire

At 10:09 hrs the Companies were dispatched to 324 East 11th Street for a building fire with entrapment.  Chester-11 arrived on location and reported heavy smoke showing from the second floor rear.  Engine 82 then arrived on location, secured a supply line, went in-service with an 1.75" attack line, and extinguished the fire in the second floor rear bedroom.  Tower 82 conducted primary and secondary searches with negative results while Engine 83 checked the exposure for extension.  The Companies went available at 12:10 hrs.

October 3, 2009 - 1141 Meadow Lane - Building Fire

At 02:01 hrs the companies were dispatched to 1141 Meadow Lane for a building fire. Chester-11 went on location with heavy smoke showing first floor side three of the building. Engine 83 established a water supply and went in service with an 1.75 attack line to extinguish the fire. The located a fire on the first floor rear with extension to the second floor.  Engine and Tower 82 checked the exposures for extension and the tower assisted with overhaul.  Companies went available at 03:35 hrs.

October 1, 2009 - 226 West 23 Street - Building Fire

At 16:28 hrs the companies were dispatched to 226 West 23rd Street for a building fire. Engine 82 arrived on location with heavy smoke showing first floor side one of the building.  The engine crew went in service with an 1.75 attack line to extinguish the fire. Tower 82 conducted searches and ventilated while Engine 83 checked the exposure for extension. Companies went available at 17:50 hrs.

September 6, 2009 - 48 Lindsay Street - Building Fire

At 18:34 hrs the companies were dispatched to the area of 24th and Lindsay Streets for smoke coming from the building.  While en route Fire Board advised that CPD was on location and reporting a working fire at 48 Lindsay Street.  Chester-11 arrived on location and reported heavy smoke showing from the dwelling.  Engine 82 arrived and went in service with an 1.75" hand-line and reported a kitchen fire. Tower 82 conducted primary and secondary searches as well as ventilated the building. Engine 83 ventilated and checked the exposure.  Companies went available at 19:11 hrs.

September 4, 2009 - 3009 West 9th Street - Building Fire

At 15:54 hrs the Companies were dispatched to 3009 West 9th Street for a building fire.  Chester-11 arrived on location and reported smoke showing from the second floor.  Engine 83 arrived and advanced an 1.75" hand-line to the second floor.  Company 82 raised ground ladders, ventilated, and checked the exposure for extension.  The fire was found in the second floor bedroom closet and was quickly extinguished.  Companies went available at 17:08 hrs.
