December 12, 2009 - 1202 Honan Street - Building Fire

At approximately 19:45 hrs the companies were dispatched to 1202 Honan Street for a building fire.  Chester -11 arrived on location and reported heavy fire showing first floor side 1 with possible entrapment.  Engine 83 arrived, established a supply line and went in service with an 1.75 attack line.  Tower 82 conducted primary and secondary searches with negative results.  The occupants had removed themselves out the rear door of the structure.  Engine 82 checked the exposures. 

December 08, 2009 - 136 West Seventh Street - Building Fire

At 15:13 hrs the companies were dispatched to 136 West Seventh Street for a building fire.  Chester-11 arrived on location and reported a one story 2 bay automotive repair shop well involved.  Engine 82 arrived on location, secured a water supply, and went in service with the Blitz Fire and an 1.75" attack line.  Tower 82 opened the roof to check for extension while Engine 83 assisted.

December 3, 2009 - 1215 West Third Street - Building Fire - 2 Alarms

At 03:56 hrs the companies were dispatched to 12:15 West 3rd Street for the second time during the tour for a building fire.  Chester-11 arrived on location and reported he had fire showing from the second floor middle room side 4 of the building.  Engine 83 established a water supply and went in service with an 1.75" attack line to the second floor.  Tower 82 laddered the building, vented the roof, and opened the ceilings and walls.  Engine 82 arrived and pulled a back up line.  The fire quickly extended to the roof and the second alarm was struck. The companies went available at 06:06 hrs.

December 2, 2009 - 1215 West Third Street - Building Fire

At 22:19 hrs the companies were dispatched to 1215 West 3rd Street for a building fire.  Chester-11 arrived on location and reported a 3 story single with heavy fire showing on the front porch.  Engine 83 arrived, secured a water supply, and went in service with an 1.75" attack line.  Tower 82 conducted a primary search while ventilating the structure.  Engine 82 arrived on location and pulled a backup line.  The bulk of the fire was contained to the front porch and the companies went available at 00:20 hrs.

December 1, 2009 - 620 West Front Street - Building Fire - 2 Alarms

At 19:33 hrs the companies were dispatched to the area of Front Street and Central Ave for a building fire.  Chester-11 arrived on location with nothing showing.  P.D. then advised that the fire was in the area of Kerlin Street.  Chester-11 arrived and reported heavy smoke showing from a 3 story end of the row and fire showing from the 2nd floor window side 2.  Engine 82 arrived on location and went in service with an 1.75 attack line.  Tower 82 ventilated and conducted a primary search.  Engine 83 assisted with establishing a water supply and pulled a back up line.  The fire extended to the 3 floor and across the roof of the row of 4 vacants.  The second alarm was struck and the companies remained on location until 22:32 hrs.
