Tuesday July 31, 2007 - 100 Pennell Street
At approximately 1940hrs the companies were dispatched to 100 Pennell Street (Health Mats Inc.) for an automatic fire alarm. Squrt 81 arrived on location and reported smoke showing from the roof of a industrial linen cleaning company. Chester-11 then advised fire board to dispatch the next due ladder (Tower 61) to replace Tower 82 (out of service). Crews from 81 and 82-2 made forcible entry and gained access. 81's command then reported he had visible fire showing from one of the machines. 82-2's crew worked on ventilating from the inside while crews from 82-1 and 61 opened skylights in the roof due to the heavy smoke conditions. Crews remained on location for about an hour for the investigation and overhaul.

Monday July 30, 2007 - 777 Harrah's Boulevard
At 1302hrs Company 82 and Chester-11 were dispatched to Harrah's Racetrack and Casino in the paddock for a horse with its hind legs trapped in the gate on the stall. Chester-11 and Company 82 arrived on location to find the horse had been sedated by an on-site veterinarian and the horses legs were freed prior to our arrival. No services were needed from the company and the units were made available.
Friday July 27, 2007 - 1123 Baldwin Street - Building Fire With Entrapment
At 0644hrs the companies were dispatched to 1123 Baldwin Street for a building fire with 4 people trapped on the roof. Chester-11 arrived on location and reported heavy smoke and fire showing from side 1 of a two story twin. Chester-11 then reported all occupants were off the roof. 82-2 arrived on location first and lead off with a 13/4 hand-line and 82-1 conducted a primary search with negative results. The occupants escaped without injury due to working smoke detectors but two dogs perished in the fire. The companies remained on location for several hours due to extensive overhaul.
Thursday July 26, 2007 - 1416 Perkins Street
At approximately 2000hrs the companies were dispatched to 1416 Perkins Street for a building fire. Squrt 81 arrived on location and found heavy smoke showing from the second floor of a vacant. They lead off with a 13/4 hand-line and quickly located and knocked down a fire on the first floor. Companies remained on location for an hour.
- 291 & Avenue of the States
At 1156hrs Company 82, Chester-11, and CCMC Medics were dispatched to 291 and Avenue of the States for a MVA. They arrived on location and found a two vehicle accident with two minor injuries. The company secured the batteries and put down oil dry on the fluids. The Medics transported two to CCMC.

Tuesday July 24, 2007 - I-95 North @ Highland Avenue
The companies were dispatched to I-95 North at Highland Avenue for a tractor trailer fire. While in-route fire board advised the fire was in Upper Chichester so Chester-11 had Engine 82 proceed in and Companies 61, 55, and 40 were dispatched. Engine 82 arrived to find a tractor trailer well involved between the trailer and the cab. Company 61(www.reliance61.com) then arrived on location and supplied Engine 82 with water and assisted 82's crew with extinguishment. The fire was placed under control in about 20 minutes and Engine 82 went available while the Upper Chichester companies stood by and finished mopping up.

Sunday July 22, 2007 - 9th & Lloyd Streets
At 0350hrs Company 81, 82-2, Chester 11 were dispatched to 9th and Lloyd Streets for a vehicle versus a utility pole. Companies arrived on location and found driver sitting on the sidewalk. Company 81 stood by for the tow , no injuries reported.

Saturday July 21, 2007 - Swartz and Culhane Streets
At 2017hrs Company 81, 82-2, and Chester-11 were dispatched to Swartz and Culhane for a MVA. Chester- 11 was first on location and reported a van versus a utility pole. Crews assisted the medics with extrication. Patient transported to CCMC.

Friday July 20, 2007 - 3rd & Parker Streets
Approximately 1400hrs company 82 was dispatched to the area of 3rd and Parker Streets for a hit and run. Fire board advised while en-route that second vehicle was a block away and there were no injuries. Company 82 arrived to find one vehicle at the intersection and the other 100 yards east on 3rd. No injuries reported.

600 Block of Welsh Street
At 0615hrs Company 82 and Medic 83-7 were dispatched to the 600 Blk of Welsh Street for a MVA. Company 82 arrived on location to find a 2 vehicle MVA with one vehicle on its side. Company 82 stood by for about an hour while the tow company uprighted and removed the vehicle. All patients refused treatment.

Tuesday July 17, 2006 - 312 East 9th Street - 2 Alarms
At 1932hrs companies were dispatched to 312 East 9th Street for a building fire. Chester-11 arrived on location and reported he had a 3 story vacant with heavy fire showing from the second and third floors. He immediately called for the second alarm bringing in Company 65, 52, 45, Canteen 47 and the city call back to the scene and went into master stream operations. Company 61 was later called to the scene for the tower. Crews remained on location for several hours while the county companies covered the city.

1403 Willison Street
At 2052hrs the county cover companies were dispatched to 1403 Willison Street for a building fire. Companies 12, 57, and Chester-11E responded and found a kitchen fire with extension into the walls. The companies remained in-service until 2158hrs.
22nd & Chestnuts Streets
At 1357hrs Company 82, Chester-11, and CCMC Medics were dispatched to 22nd and Chestnut Streets for a 3 vehicle MVA. Company 82 arrived to find one vehicle off the road way into a tree with minor entrapment. Ladder 82 popped a door and removed the B pillar while the rest of the company assisted the medics. The Medics transported a total of three patients all with minor injuries to CCMC.

Saturday July 14, 2007 - 312 East 9th Street
At around 02:30 hours companies were dispatched for a building fire. Units arrived on scene with a three story brick single, vacant, with fire showing from side one. Engine 82-1 dropped a supply line and pulled an 1 3/4" attack line and quickly knocked the bulk of the fire down. Crews from 82-2, 81-1 performed primary and secondary searches that proved negative. Units were in service for about an hour and fifteen minutes.
Tuesday July 10, 2007 - I-95 @ I -476
At 0900hrs Company 82 and the medics were dispatched to I-95 north at Edgmont Avenue for a MVA. The company responded to the area but did not find anything. They continued north just past the entrance ramp to I-476 and found the call in Ridley Township. Company 82 then reported they had one vehicle overturned with a total of 5 injuries. Medics 81,82,83,Ridley 7,7B, as well as Medic 100 treated the injured and transported all to CCMC. Company 82 remained in service for 45 minutes before going available.

I-95 @ Highland Avenue
At approximately 1250hrs the companies were dispatched to I-95 south at Highland Avenue for a overturned truck with entrapment. They arrived on location and found an truck carrying several rolls of paper (2000lbs each) overturned on the exit ramp to Highland Avenue. There was no entrapment and only one minor injury that was transported to CCMC by Medic 81-7. The companies remained in service for several hours while the truck was off loaded and uprighted.

Wednesday July 4, 2007 - 4th and Hinkson
At approximately 0300hrs Engine 82 was dispatched to the area of 4th and Hinkson for a vehicle fire. The engine arrived on location to find a 2004 Lincoln Continental with the passenger compartment fully involved. The fire was extinguished in approximately 10 minutes.

Monday July 2, 2007 - 3327 Township Line Road
A Platoon goes two alarms.
At 1659 hrs.Companies 81and 82 along with Medic 100-7 were dispatched to 3327 Township Line Road for a building fire. The medic's arrived first and reported that they had two story middle of the row with smoke coming from the eves. Chester-11 arrived a short time later and advised fire board that he now had visible fire from the roof and the second floor. Squrt 81 was making good progress in the fire building while the tower reported fire running the roof and that they needed another hand line. With this in mind Chester-9 called for the 2nd alarm. The fire was controlled in about 20 minutes with the help of our cover companies and the "Call back guy's." There were no injuries reported and the fire was reported to be started by "fireworks". Fire was also reported to have been fought with a garden hose for 30 minutes before the fire department was called.

Friday June 29, 2007 - I-95 North @ Walnut
Approximately 1800 hrs Company 82, Chester-11, and CCMC Medics were dispatched to I-95 north at Walnut for a three car MVA. Chester-11 arrived on location and found a one vehicle MVA off the road on the embankment. No injuries were reported. Chester-11 and Tower 82 stood by until the vehicle was removed from the hill.
11th and Potter Streets
At 1930 hrs Company 82, Chester-11, and Medic 45-7 were dispatched to 11th and Potter Streets for a MVA. Chester-11 arrived on location and found a three vehicle MVA with one vehicle up on the sidewalk. CCMC medics treated one patient and transported to CCMC.
Wednesday, June 27, 2007 – I-95 South Bound
At approximately 4:45 AM Engine 82 was dispatched to I-95 SB in the area of I-476 and Melrose Avenue for a vehicle fire. Engine 82 responded and checked the area but could not find the vehicle. They continued to travel south until they found a tractor trailer full of produce well involved in the rear. The rig was located just past the 322 and I-95 split in Upper Chichester so Companies 61, 55, and Ambulance 40 were dispatched and assisted Company 82 with extinguishment. Company 82 cleared the scene while the Upper Chichester companies stood by for the clean up.

Sunday June 24, 2007 - 3201 West 3rd Street
At approximately 1445hrs Chester-11 arrived on location and reported smoke showing from the front of a two story dwelling. Crews found heavy fire in the kitchen area with extension to the second floor. Command requested the second alarm for manpower due to another call in the city.
Saturday June 23, 2007 - 777 Harrah's Boulevard
At approximately 07:30 hours on 06/23/07 the companies were dispatched to 777 Harrah's Boulevard in the parking garage for a building fire. Chester-11 was first to arrive on scene and found a vehicle on the first floor fully involved. Squrt 81 arrived second and took the standpipe and supplied water to Engine 82 upon their arrival. Company 82 went in service with two 13/4 hand lines and quickly extinguished a street sweeper. Companies were in service approximately 25 minutes before returning to the station.
Saturday June 16, 2007 - 1341 West 9th Street
At approximately 0735hrs Chester-11 arrived on location and had heavy smoke showing from a two story apartment building. Squrt 81 arrived next and went in service with a 13/4 hand line while Tower 82 opened up and searched. Engine 82 checked for extension and stood by. The fire was under control in 15 minutes while crews operated for just under an hour.
