Welcome to Chester Firefighters Local 1400
Thank you for visiting Chester Professional Firefighters Local 1400's web site. We are dedicated to protecting the lives and property of the citizens of the City of Chester located in Delaware County Pennsylvania. We man two station's, Station 1 (81) located at Third and Tilghman Streets in the city's west end, and Station 2 (82) located in the east end at Fourteenth Street and Providence Avenue. Station 81 houses Squrt 81(Out of service due to staffing) and Engine 83. Station 82 (Fire Head Quarters) houses Engine 82, Tower Ladder 82, and a Battalion Chief's vehicle (Chester 11). Chester Firefighters serve a population of 37,000 24 hours a day 365 days a year with Pride, Integrity, and Courage.

B Platoon Retirement Party for Joe Morse

The Members of B Platoon celebrated the retirement of Brother Joe Morse after 25 years of service tonight. After dinner at Famous Dave's BBQ the members of B Platoon presented Brother Morse with a plaque. 
B platoon as well as the other members of Local 1400 would like to wish Brother Morse a long and happy retirement.
